Lettering, Typography and Logos
Typography is an integral part of practically everything that I touch. When possible, I work with typography that is hand-crafted, hand-written, or hand-lettered. I want the audience to know that this work was created by a human. Letterforms made by hand have personality, warmth and sentiment and as humans, we are drawn to things that are organic.
This section of my website includes a healthy selection of hand-crafted pieces. It also includes a few of my favorite logos, some of which do not include hand-lettering, but do include elements that were translated from an original pencil sketch to something a little more polished.
